About Us

CareNet is a community service that combats food insecurity in our local community by partnering with other community services to build networks, share resources and strengthen our overall community.

FOOD RELIEF

CareNet’s food relief program operates each Tuesday from 10am to 2pm at the church, no referral is required.

We offer:

- Hampers of non-perishable groceries

- Household cleaning products

- Personal hygiene products.

- Fresh fruit and vegetables

- Frozen meals

We also have a Mobile Pantry which operates on Wednesdays located in the carpark behind the Warrandyte library and Warrandyte Neighbourhood House.

 

DONATIONS

CareNet accepts financial donations and food donations. Food can be dropped off to the church Tuesday’s (10am - 2pm) & Friday (10.30am - 12pm).

Every $10 donation will be turned into $50 worth of grocery items.

 

We also have donation drop off points at:

- IGA Templestowe

- Now & Not Yet Cafe

- Warrandyte Neighbourhood House

- Manningham Christian Centre

- Diamond Valley Community Support Inc.

Through CareNet there are volunteering opportunities on a Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday. Please contact Kellie at [email protected]
